These on-the-go sessions will emphasize teaching your dog to stay calm around other dogs, remain focused on you while in distracting environments,
We will introduce you and your dog to "Structured Socialization" vs "Recreational Socialization" as we walk through local dog-friendly areas. You will be able to enjoy the wonders of a great walk with your dog, and learn to be an advocate for your dog as you introduce them to the world at large.
Hounds About Town - Training Walks Get out and about with your dog!Each week our Hounds About Town training walks meets at a different locations in and around Hobsonville Point to work on socialization, manners in public, confidence building and more!
The Training walks work on social skills, using different exercises in different locations to help with greetings, walking past other dogs and people, urban distractions, cafe manners …, walking nicely on leash, attention, and more!

Enrolment fees will not be refunded for missed classes or cancellations once class has commenced, nor do we offer make up classes. Please carefully consider your schedule, commitment to training, and your dog before registering for class.
